A charity fundraiser

Sherlock News

Recently, we were delighted to support studio friend Sophie Streeting (at client, U+I) by using our experience of working with charities – and food & drink clients – to design an invite and poster for a charity fundraiser.

Sophie is working with NGO Movement on the Ground to create a cookbook of recipes from the community of Lesvos. Proceeds from sales of the book will go towards supporting the residents of Lesvos’s refugee camps.

The fundraiser was a wine tasting evening designed to raise funds to publish the book.

We developed a look and feel for the event that was first and foremost aimed at drawing people in and getting them to buy tickets. The secondary purpose was to subtly communicate a little about Movement on the Ground and the cookbook, but without the messaging feeling too worthy, or stark.
