Full-Time Senior Designer

Sherlock News

Founded in 2009, we’re a 12-strong studio of designers, writers and thinkers, based in
central Brighton. We work with a hugely varied portfolio of clients from start-ups to multinationals, spanning multiple sectors.

– A Senior Designer (5 yrs + experience) who’s able to manage their own workload and co-manage junior members of the team.
– Reporting into our Creative Director/s
– Working alongside our copy & tone team to develop the best overall creative result.

We’re searching for someone with solid experience who’s looking for either a sideways move or a step up. Highly organised, collaborative and nimble, we need a new team member who can adapt to our clients’ changing needs, often at short notice. Due to our mixed client base, our new Senior Designer will be just as comfortable presenting creative concepts to a senior stakeholder at a large client as they are to a start-up founder.

With a good understanding of the value that good design can create, we want someone who can help us stay ahead by bringing new ideas to the studio through personality, background, experience, culture or creativity.

Above all, a positive attitude, open-minded approach to life and good sense of humour would all be very welcome.

– Full-time, 8.30 – 5.30pm (5pm finish on a Friday).
– Studio-based (Central Brighton) with optional for 2 days WFH/week.
– Competitive salary depending on experience.
– 28 days’ holiday (including Bank Holidays)
– Bottomless (great quality) coffee, gym contribution, mobile phone contribution, pension contribution.

– Experience of designing for digital.
