Retail design consultancy Sherlock Studio has appointed Rich Ford to the new role of Business Development Manager.
Reporting directly to founding directors Tony Lock and Robert Sherburn, Rich will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, nurturing new business and handling the studio’s PR and marketing strategy.
Rich joins Sherlock from global market research and trends consultancy Mintel Group where he was a London-based Senior Food & Drink Analyst spanning the retail and foodservice sectors. Prior to that, Rich worked on leading trade magazine The Grocer as Deputy Fresh Foods Editor.
“Rob and I are really excited to start 2016 by welcoming Rich to the team. His in-depth knowledge of the food and drink sector together with his energy and enthusiasm will be of significant value to our clients,” says MD Tony Lock.
Rich’s appointment, effective from 4 January 2016, comes as Sherlock enters a new phase in its evolution.
“We have spent the last few years refining our identity, building our brand and compiling a portfolio of leading clients, largely in the retail food and drink space. We now aim to extend and broaden our reach through sustainable, organic growth,” Tony adds.
