A trio of regional chutneys

Curry Leaf Cafe

The brief

Curry Leaf Cafe wanted to bring their signature range of chutneys, served in their Brighton restaurants, to the retail market. They asked our team to design labels for the jars, translating the recently refreshed branding we designed across to this new channel.

What we delivered

We heroed the illustration work we created, during the brand refresh, to lend a fun and informal personality to the range. Creating a visual feast for the eyes, they stand out on-shelf and help tell the story of the ingredients and regional heritage of the recipes.

A tile device ensures clarity for the customer, and provides consistency, when shopping the range. Meanwhile, the mandala, borrowed from the master logo, is used as a functional device to indicate the heat level.
