Enhancing the in-store foodservice offer

The client

We have had a successful working relationship with Tesco since our studio was founded, working with the retailer on many aspects of their store design – both internal and external – and brand.

The brief

We were briefed to advise Tesco on the in-store communications around its foodservice offering, which Tesco was looking to ramp up at the time. The project ran across several stores.

What we delivered

We took a foodie-inspired approach to our designs, echoing design more typically seen in pubs and restaurants, from chalkboard-inspired specials signs, to word montages to aid navigation.

We also created some packaging for the food offer, using materials and textures that gave a slightly artisanal / nostalgic feel, to reflect prevailing trends at the time.
