Discover Children’s Story Centre

The client

Discover Children’s Story Centre is the UK’s first hands-on creative literacy centre for children aged 0-11 years and their families, carers and teachers. We’ve been working with Discover for several years.

The brief

Discover Children’s Story Centre partners with high-profile authors for creative programmes and events that engage and inspire children to read and write.

We were asked by Discover to help produce the exhibition literature for the Bear Hunt, Chocolate Cake & Bad Things interactive family exhibition based on the Michael Rosen book of the same name.

What we delivered

We created a suite of assets to help publicise the exhibition ahead of the opening and to complement it once it launched, such as an event brochure, posters and window vinyls. As with all of our Discover work, much of the material we design has to appeal to both children and parents.

In producing the assets, we had to ensure it was clearly a Discover event, but at the same time, we had to strictly adhere to the publisher’s guidelines in producing the creative.
